A pirate Looks Back (Your Story)(1).png

Not that long ago, Key West was nothing more than a sleepy little town on the last island left in the free world. Writers, artists, lost souls and misfits came to her shores, looking for something they couldn’t find back in the real world.

Then one day in November of 1971, a young wandering minstrel showed up in the back of a 1947 Packard, carrying little more than the clothes on his back and a lifelong love for the ocean. He’d spend the rest of his days coming and going in one manner or another, and some folks say the songs he wrote here changed the world. One thing is for certain: neither he, nor the island of Key West, would ever be the same again.

Join us each day at noon for Key West's most unique tribute concert and show! "A Pirate Looks Back" is a musical tribute to the man who made Margaritaville more than a melody - he made it a way of life. With a little bit of humor, a whole lot of heart, and all of the hits you know and love, "A Pirate Looks Back" will entertain, educate, surprise, and delight parrot heads and newcomers alike.

Acclaimed musician and actor Caleb Hogan appears in character as the representation of a young Jimmy, telling the stories and playing the songs that have touched the hearts of millions worldwide.

Whether you're a die-hard fan of Jimmy Buffett, or just visiting Key West and want to hear the songs and stories that turned the troubadour into a legend, this show is a must-see for all visitors to the island!
